# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The coconut snow effect makes these look like little cottontails hopped right onto your serving plate
  • Kids go absolutely wild for the marshmallow ears, but the adults secretly reach for them first
02 -
  • The marshmallow ears get sticky fast in humid weather, so decorate within an hour of serving if possible
  • Buttercream sets up better on completely cool cupcakes, otherwise the coconut slides right off
03 -
  • Use kitchen shears dipped in powdered sugar to cut marshmallows, the scissors stay clean and the cuts are perfect
  • Press decorations in gently but firmly because the buttercream firms up and holds them in place
