- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes to ensure optimal cooking temperature.
- Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine wings with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss thoroughly until evenly coated.
- Place seasoned wings in a single layer in air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 24-26 minutes, shaking basket halfway through cooking time. Wings should be golden brown and crispy when done.
- While wings cook, melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes.
- Transfer cooked wings to large bowl. Pour garlic-parmesan butter sauce over wings and toss vigorously until thoroughly coated.
- Plate wings immediately and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley as desired.
