# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like you spent an hour cooking but you were in and out of the kitchen in less time than it takes to order takeout.
  • The lemon and herbs make the whole house smell like a coastal bistro without any fancy technique required.
02 -
  • Check the thickest part of the fillet with a fork at 16 minutes, overcooked salmon turns chalky and no amount of lemon will save it.
  • If you marinate the salmon for 20 to 30 minutes before baking, the flavors soak in deeper and the fish tastes even more vibrant.
03 -
  • Let the salmon sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before baking so it cooks more evenly and stays tender in the center.
  • Save any leftover herb oil from the pan and toss it with pasta or drizzle it over roasted potatoes the next day.
