- Line a baking tray with parchment paper to catch drips and provide a clean surface for decorated pretzels.
- Place semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval until completely smooth. Repeat the process separately with white chocolate in a second bowl.
- Hold each pretzel rod and dip approximately two-thirds into the melted chocolate of your choice. Lift and gently shake to allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
- Immediately place dipped pretzels on the prepared tray. While chocolate remains wet, sprinkle generously with Easter-themed decorations or drizzle with melted candy melts for added color and texture.
- Allow chocolate-covered pretzels to set at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes until firm. For faster setting, transfer tray to refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
- Once chocolate has completely hardened, transfer pretzels to an airtight container. Store at cool room temperature for up to one week.
