Gooey chocolate and toasted Peeps marshmallows in a warm skillet, perfect for sharing with graham crackers.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Chocolate Layer

01 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
02 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

→ Marshmallow Layer

03 - 18 Peeps marshmallow chicks or bunnies

→ Dippers

04 - 12 graham crackers, broken into pieces

# How to Prepare:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F.
02 - Place the chocolate chips and butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet.
03 - Place the skillet in the oven for 3–4 minutes, until the chocolate is mostly melted. Remove from oven and gently stir to combine.
04 - Arrange the Peeps marshmallows in a single layer over the melted chocolate, covering the surface.
05 - Return the skillet to the oven and bake for 4–6 minutes, until the Peeps are puffed and lightly golden. Watch closely to prevent burning.
06 - Remove from the oven and let cool for 2–3 minutes.
07 - Serve immediately with graham cracker pieces for dipping. Scoop up molten chocolate and gooey Peeps with each bite.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The playful colors make every bite feel like a celebration, and watching them puff up in the oven is surprisingly satisfying
  • Everything happens in one skillet, meaning almost zero cleanup and more time for dipping and sharing
  • The combination of melty chocolate and toasted Peeps creates a texture that is somehow both fluffy and wonderfully gooey
02 -
  • Peeps go from perfectly golden to burnt faster than you expect, so keep a close eye during those final minutes
  • The chocolate stays molten and dipable for about 15 minutes before it starts to firm up again
03 -
  • Line your baking sheet under the skillet with foil because sometimes the Peeps expand and drip over the edge
  • If your chocolate seems too thick after melting, stir in another teaspoon of butter to loosen it up
